The Federal Board of Revenue and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority have introduced a new service that enables mobile phones brought into Pakistan to function for 120 days without needing registration. This initiative is designed to support foreign visitors to the country. To take advantage of this service, applicants need to submit certain documents, such as their passport number and IMEI number. Once the 120-day period is over, mobile services will be limited unless the device is registered with the PTA.
Federal Board of Revenue FBR and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA have introduced a temporary registration service for mobile phones brought out of Pakistan. Requirements
Applicants must have the following documents to take advantage of this facility.

- Date of arrival and departure

Under this new service, the Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan Telecommunications Authority PTA and Federal Investigation Agency FIA work together and Immigration Data confirms the date of the applicant through the FIA IBMS.
